How to know your IP address,Subnet Mask and Default Gateway In Windows and Mac

What is an IP address ?
An IP address is a fascinating/interesting product of modern computer technology designed to allow one computer (or other digital device) to communicate with another via the Internet. "IP" stands for Internet Protocol, so an IP address is an Internet Protocol address. An Internet Protocol is a set of rules that govern Internet activity and facilitate completion of a variety of actions on the World Wide Web. Therefore an Internet Protocol address is part of the systematically laid out interconnected grid that governs online communication by identifying both initiating devices and various Internet destinations, thereby making two-way communication possible.
What is a Subnet Mask ?
A Subnet mask is a 32-bit number that masks an IP(Internet Protocol) address, and divides the IP address into network address and host address. Subnet Mask is made by setting network bits to all "1"s and setting host bits to all "0"s. It is called a subnet mask because it is used to identify network address of an IP address by perfoming a bitwise AND operation on the netmask.
What is a Default Gateway ?

A default gateway in computer networking is the node that is assumed to know how to forward packets on to other networks from the host network. Typically in a TCP/IP network, nodes such as servers, workstations and network devices each have a defined default route setting, (pointing to the default gateway), defining where to send packets for IP addresses for which they can determine no specific route. The gateway is by definition a router.

Steps to find IP address,Subnet Mask and  the Default Gateway.

For Windows :

1)Open CMD as an "Administrator".
2)Type ipconfig in the Command Prompt window and press enter.(ipconfig means internet protocol configuration)
3)All of the three will be displayed.

For MAC :

1)Open Terminal.
2)Type ifconfig in the terminal and press enter.(ifconfig means interface configuration)
3)All of the three will be displayed.

and decode media, you must implement a hardware-based codec as an OpenMax IL (Integration Layer) component.
